Sean McCarthy, EqDT, has been providing equine dental services for nearly 15 years and is a graduate of the American School of Equine Dentistry, the oldest equine dental school in the United States. He is certified through the Equine Dental Providers of America, whose certification process has been approved by veterinary regulatory boards in several states, and has served as an instructor at the American School of Equine Dentistry for more than 10 years. Sean is a published author of professional articles on equine dentistry and is trusted by more than 30 veterinarians, both equine and small animal, to provide equine dental services for their personal horses. His client list includes Olympic-level competitors, World Cup winners, and horses competing at the highest levels across a wide range of equestrian disciplines.
Sean McCarthy is an Equine Dental Technician and provides services in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations. He does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, perform veterinary medicine, or administer sedation, and works collaboratively with licensed veterinarians when veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or other veterinary services are required.

Fees
Routine Float
$100/each for 1-3 horses floated at the same time or $90/each for 4 or more floated at the same time.
This includes removing sharp points and establishing equilibration.
Exam Fee - $20. This fee is charged on all horses not requiring a float. This fee covers travel time, gas, and Sean's time for the appointment. A chart will be provided detailing what is found. NO farm call fee.
Payment - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
- Payment is due at time of service. We do not offering billing under any circumstance.
- We DO take cash!
- We DO take Credit/Debit cards. There is a 3% convenience fee, which covers our our of pocket costs for using this service.
- We DO take Pay Pal. There is no charge if payment is sent via Friends and Family. If payment is sent via their services link, there will be a convenience fee of 3% for using this service.
- We DO take Venmo. There is a 3% convenience fee, which covers our our of pocket costs for using this service.
- We DO NOT take checks without prior authorization. Sean serves such a large area that when clients bounce checks, it can be extremely difficult to get payment. If a check is the only option (such as with a 501c) prior authorization must be made for each visit. We charge a minimum of $50 for a bounce check and will no longer offer services to anyone that bounces a check.
