Sean McCarthy, EqDT, has been practicing equine dentistry for approximately 15 years and is a graduate of the American School of Equine Dentistry, the oldest equine dental school in the United States. He is board certified through the Equine Dental Providers of America and has served as an instructor at the American School of Equine Dentistry for approximately 10 years. Sean is a published author of professional articles on equine dentistry and is trusted by over 30 veterinarians, both equine and small animal, to provide dental care for their personal horses. His client list includes Olympic-level competitors, World Cup winners, and horses competing at the highest levels across a wide range of equestrian disciplines.
Sean McCarthy is an Equine Dental Technician and provides services in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state in which care is rendered. He does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform veterinary procedures, and works within the scope of practice permitted by applicable law.
